Old update (December 5, 2014) : This is a message to our SessRin community of fans for this beautiful couple. Chapter six has been written and featured, you can find it in our gallery and journal. We only have three more authors on our list, so this will probably be the last chance to join our collaboration project. If anyone is interested in joining our event, please contact me. Chances are that I'll be assigning our current last three authors to work on the conclusion of our story relay if we don't have anyone else joining us. Truly, it's been a fun joy for me to host this project!

Old update (November 8, 2014) : Hi everyone! Just a quick update to feature another illustration for our story relay project. Go check it out below! At the moment, chapter six is in progress of being written, but I'll be updating the journal when the chapter gets released so please look forward to that. Thank u!

Old update (November 3, 2014) : I have gone ahead and updated the list of authors on this blog. As far as news goes concerning illustrators, just an update that right now our illustrators are busy season for them, so artwork for chapters might take a while before they are drawn, but better late than never. XD As of now our goal is to write ten to thirteen chapters before this story relay project comes to an end. If there is anyone that would like to sign up to write a chapter for this project, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you

Old update (October 19, 2014) : Hi everyone I just thought I should let you know that there will be some changes on our order list of authors and I will be updating this journal more frequently, so check below for updates. I'm still working out the situation here, so please be patient with me while I sort out the order of our next author for chapter six.

Also just to let our current authors know. Those that are scheduled with a chapter and I don't hear from you within a month of me contacting you, I will go ahead and have your name go to the following chapter which hasn't been claimed. This will be done so the project won't get stalled halfway. If I still don't hear from you after moving you down on the list, chances are that you will be dropped from the event since I was unable to get in contact with you. This procedure is done so that the project won't run into any problems. I do apologize if you ever get dropped from our collaboration project, as I feel bad to do this to you after you willing volunteered to participate with us, but this is necessary so the project won't run into any hiatuses. My goal is to bring the SesshRin community closer by hosting this event.  Thank you for reading this. </I>

Sesshomaru and Rin Story Relay Group Project

Prompt: I want to be more than friends!
Rated: T (Young adults)
Characters: Sesshomaru, Rin, Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and any other character from Inuyasha manga or anime is allowed.

Summary~

Due to a bet, Sesshomaru accepted to receive one of Kagome’s friend, who needs the help, as a guest into his house. This friend just so happened to be Rin. Rin wasn’t able to get a spot in the college dorms and her part time job doesn’t give her enough money to rent a place of her own. Sesshomaru and Rin aren’t friends, but after co-habiting together for three weeks have things changed?



I thought I'd make this new journal to notify members and affiliated members that group project is still open for participants to join.

Participants will get a notification from me, just in case someone forgets to inform the other participant that their turn has arrive.

This project is a story with multiple authors and illustrators get to participate, too. The idea is for authors to write a short story together, with each person continuing on from where the previous author stops. It sounds like fun doesn't it? It gets even better with the opportunity to have drawing artists join in by illustrating a drawing that goes with the author's written piece.



rules so far are listed as below:

There is no deadline for submitting your chapter/illustration. I do however check on your progress by sending you to verify that you are/still interested in contributing your work to the story relay. I understand that people have jobs, go to school and have their personal life to attend to that is why there is no deadlines for this story relay.

Story must be following dA rules, so if you plan on writing any type of violence, explicit content, or themes that are strong, please use the mature filter. This story is being written for an audience of teens and young adults.

Authors have no limit on word count, but if desired and make it easier then it will be added.

I want to make it a goal of ten chapters for this story relay! I wonder if we will meet our goal. I'm still looking for authors! just send me a note or comment in this journal.

Please keep in mind we can only accept so many illustrators in relation to authors. This means that their are chances that not all chapters will get drawings. This also applies to receiving more illustrators than authors. An author may sometimes be receive more than one illustrator.

Depending on how many people participate will depend how long this story relay will reach completion. This will only apply when the story feels it is coming to an end where we will have three authors be in charge of creating a conclusion to end the story.

Sorry, but no original characters are allowed to become main characters or friends of main characters. It would be great fun to have them, but since we will be having different interpretations from other writers it would be difficult to keep a natural flow between chapters.

Authors must write with consideration for the illustrators, referring to descriptions in story. Illustrators can draw line-art or a colored drawing scene from the chapter they have been assigned to work with.

and most important of all, please be polite to one another and be willing to compromise. As there are many different people with different ideas involved in this, some of your ideas may not get in the way you hoped because the other writer takes story in another direction. Just come at this project with an open mind!

Here is what you need to do to participate. If you want to be an author, or illustrator please comment on this blog beginning with “Author” or "Illustrator". Any questions or suggestions you may have to improve rules on this story relay project are welcome.

Since our list of participation is still few, current participants get the chance to participate as many time if they are interested. This rule also applies for illustrators, so more than one drawing is allow.

Promotion is always welcome! Let's reunite Sesshomaru and Rin fans together to create a fun project.

Chapter One: More than friends“Here is your chardonnay and cocktail drinks. Is there anything else that I can provide for you?”
The bartender smiled friendly at the cute couple before he was dismissed with a good tip.
“So how about it? Are you interested in playing a bet of love with me?”
“Yeah, sure why not.” Deep laughter before the voice continues speaking. “I’d like to see that happen!” The tone of voice was sarcastic, but implied interest.
“I’ll go ahead and make the arrangement to have those two live together under one roof.”
“That’s sounds perfect.” The voice was soft and feminine.
Ocher eyes stared arrogantly into chocolate brown eyes. The female placed a hand on his shoulder and the other on his leg. “You haven’t invited me to dance yet. So how about it?”
“Let’s finish our drinks first, before we go dancing. There’s no rush.”

Kagome was acting very suspicious for the next few days. Be it because she was stressing about finals coming up or Inuyasha being a bother once again, Rin knew she was hiding something important. Kagome was the type of person who couldn't keep things to herself; she just needed to tell someone about it. Sango was the only person Rin could think of that Kagome could blab to. Perhaps she could get something out of her. There was only one problem though- the only way to get something out of Sango was drinking. Get the girl drunk and you'll be able to get any gossip, secret, or anything valuable out of her. It was pure gold and Rin wasn't going to waste it.
They were going out this weekend anyways. It was Rin's only chance to find some dirty gossip. There was a new nightclub that just opened d  written by the awesome

“Did something happen?! Why am I naked?” Rin groaned, thinking the worst scenario possible: sleeping with Sesshomaru.
“Plenty happened last night, Rin.” Sesshomaru said groggily and turned to his side, revealing a set of toned abs, broad chest, chiseled muscles.
“W-what?” Rin rasped, petrified to the core.

Rin was awoken early in the morning. She turned off her alarm wiping the sleep from her eyes.
She slowly made her way out of bed and picked some normal jeans and a blue sweater to go over her blue shirt.
She used the adjoined bathroom to wash her face, brush her teeth, and apply her makeup, before grabbing her backpack making sure all her books, and supplies were in the bag.
She took a deep breath and stepped out of her room and headed down the stairs and did her best to make a bee line for the front door.
“Rin don’t you want breakfast?” Rin winced slightly when she was seen by Sesshomaru and stopped only long enough to answer him.
“No thanks Sesshomaru, I’m not hungry.”
Rin then dashed out the door before Sesshomaru even had a chance to respond back. She knew avoiding him was only because she was ashamed of misjudging him about being a player.
“He must think I am awful person.”

At one point in half of the story, I wanted so badly to stop writing because it kept getting longer and longer and I hate writing long chapters because it drains me out. Chapter Eight SesshRin story relayHer hands held on to the side of her seat as the bus crossed past a section of train tracks on the road. She could feel the rough road beneath the floor, past her feet as the bus traveled forward. The bumpiness swayed her body from side to side on occasions.
Rin sighed for the umpteenth time since she had left behind the café where she saw Kagura and Sesshomaru, being so close and intimate. It truly felt like they made a perfect couple.
She didn’t know why she was allowing doubts to cloud her judgment. She knew if she wanted to find answers, she would have to confront Sesshomaru. But could she do it? He wouldn’t think her to be a nuisance? Surely, he must feel something for her.
The conversation she had with Kagome that afternoon was still clear in her head. Rin stood up and pulled the string to indicate the bus driver that she wanted to get off at the next bus stop.
